Her Love for Horses . . . Off The Track Thoroughbred OTTB qoutes from my sister

This is my sister KOKO and her horse, Lazarus.  She sells clothing apparel with an OTTB graphic and statement that is loved by OTTB owners and lovers.  Join her along for the ride on her blog Sweet Horse's Breath and shop at her Etsy Store OTTB Tee's. Her facebook page is also full of great content to follow: OTTB Tee's FB

The portraits of just her horse, Lazarus, I took when I was visiting her in Michigan.  It's the only horse I actually love, you can understand why by reading her blog.  But also, look at his eyes and giraffe neck . . . swoon.

Video Love collage on our Beach Wedding Day: June 30th 2012

Our wonderful friend, Claire Homewood created this beautiful video montage of our wedding festival and ceremony on June 30th, 2012.  It is still so touching to relive those moments of supreme happiness and celebration with our family and friends.

Ancestors

I am going to Greece soon. I've just finished my olives I picked in the Constantia valley.  Here is a picture of my YiaYia Chrissy when my brother George was just a single digit. I want to say this is circe 1977.  The home she was born in is one of my favorite places on Earth.  I'm so happy to be able to sleep within those walls. The very same space she was born into.

Zereshk

I love these little berries of sour goodness. Zereshk as I grew up knowing them always found themselves in Giti's blissful rice.  Was so happy when I was tagged in this photo.  I may need to plant my own Beriberis.

Tehran Night Market

This picture is from my seastar's album when she visited home in July.  I want to go to Iran and smell and taste all the wonder she captured in her pictures. She says I would love it, and I know I would. I am sure I have been there before in some other lifetime.  Now's the time to retap into my Farsi-speaking skills.

The Cape Argus Cycle Tour in Cape Town

In just under 3 hours, womyn and men of the Cape Argus Cycle Tour completed the ride from Cape Town's city centre and back again on the most beautiful peninsula of the world.  I woke up on Sunday morning to cheers and clapping for the dedication of cyclists making their way around Boyes Drive in Muizenberg.  Just steps from our home was a refueling spot of blue energy drink and I managed to capture some young faces touring their own city's landscape on their self-powered bicycles.  It was a gorgeous Sunday of hope and positivity to watch thousands of people travel through the city.

Joy and Chaos with MP3 experiment

Improv Everywhere comes to Cape Town, ZA

Balloon battles, and random high-fives.  Peeps got an afternoon of random spontaneity with a lesson in listening in the Bay of sunglasses, six-packs and pouty lips.
